Due to their lower cost, rapid completion time and use of high-quality components, system-built modular homes are quite popular within the residential construction industry. Economically feasible up to 2,500 s.f., modular homes are designed to withstand winds of up to 175 mph. Unlike manufactured mobile homes (trailers), modular homes are recognized by insurance companies and lending institutions as single-family residences.
